BIO

Fifteen-year-old singer and songwriter “Katie O” hails from Jacksonville, Florida. Born Katherine Ondrejicka, she is the youngest of four children and the only girl. She and her brothers—Dawson,19; Mikey, 17; and Dillon, 15—are all very close.
Singing has always come naturally to Katie; her mother recalls her always singing and loving music. She would create her own tunes to memorize schoolwork, not realizing that singing and songwriting would eventually become her passion.

In January 2018, Katie began performing at public venues. She has opened for Glenn Templeton, Linda Davis, Trent Tomlinson, and High Valley. Having won many local contests, she was chosen to perform at the Suwannee River Jam in 2018 and will do so again this year. She was blessed to have had the opportunity to sing one of her favorite songs, Loretta Lynn’s “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” with the famous Time Jumpers in Nashville. Katie enjoys singing classic country,  Bluegrass and Christian music.

Katie is currently completing her first two original songs, one of which is called “Swimming Holes and Fishing Poles.” Co-written with Nashville songwriter Ken  Moulden, it really explains her personality. The second one, “Airplane Mode,”  is a fun, upbeat song that Katie came up with one day while working on homework; co-writers Dan Reidsnyder and John Cirillo worked with her to complete it. Both songs are being produced by Chip Martin Productions in Nashville.

In addition to her passion for music, Katie is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys bass fishing with her brother Dillon. She also loves to spend time jet skiing and four-wheeling. Her deep appreciation of the outdoors also expresses itself in her profound reverence for God. Katie gives her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the glory both for her talent and for all the wonderful opportunities that have blessed her life thus far.
